This Privacy Policy applies to the Ant Colony Manager app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by GRONO SP Z O O, referred to in this policy as the Service Provider.
Ant Colony Manager is a hobby tracking and statistical logbook utility for formicarium enthusiasts. It helps users record colony profiles, feeding logs, maintenance tasks, habitat parameters, brood stages, population statistics, archives, exports, and notes.
Information Collection and Use
The Application does not collect personal information through normal use. Any colony records, observation notes, feeding logs, habitat parameters, brood tracking, media logs, species references, statistics, archives, exports, or backups created in the app are intended to remain on the user’s own device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, basic technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted by network infrastructure to enable connectivity. GRONO does not retain this data or use it for tracking.
Location Data
The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
Third-Party Access
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties. GRONO does not sell personal data.
Data Retention
GRONO does not retain personal data from the Application on company servers. App records are intended to remain locally on the user’s device.
Any colony profiles, feeding logs, maintenance checklists, habitat parameters, statistics, archives, exports, and notes remain under the user’s control on the device.
If you voluntarily contact GRONO by email, any information you provide is used only to respond to your request and is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for communication, support, legal, or administrative purposes.
Data Deletion
Because the Application does not collect or store personal information on GRONO servers, there is generally no server-side app data for GRONO to delete.
- To remove local app data, use the in-app clear/reset tools where available, or uninstall the Application from your device.
- To request deletion of information you voluntarily sent to GRONO by email, contact support@grono.ink.
- GRONO will delete voluntarily provided contact information where applicable, unless retention is required for legitimate legal, security, or administrative reasons.
No Accounts or Authorization
The GRONO website and the Ant Colony Manager app are presented without user account requirements for basic use. There is no website registration, login page, account dashboard, member area, or protected user portal.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure through GRONO systems is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting access to their own devices and local backups.
Data Breach Notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting app-related personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided to GRONO, GRONO will notify you as required by applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
GRONO may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Where required by law, GRONO will seek consent before material changes take effect.
